Here we go....

Challenge requirements:
- Create a ONE page layout (any size) (paper only - no digital)
Layout must include:
- ric-rac
- paint
- at least one hand-made flower (made by YOU) - can be made out of paper, fabric, felt...whatever.
- 1 or 2 photos (no more, no less)
- I got the inspiration for this week's journaling from the http://dailyjournallingprompts.blogspot.com blog. Life doesn’t always work out the way you’d like it to. Sometimes you yearn to be doing something else, to be somewhere else, even to be WITH someone else…So - what would you rather do/be/have/say?
Include the words "I'd rather..." in your journaling - make it long or short as you like.
- must be an original design - no sketches please.

Everything else is up to you.

In your upload description, please list all supplies used and type out any journaling if it's hard to see in the pic.

Please pay close attention to the requirements of the challenge! Ask questions if you need clarification! Any deviation from the challenge requirements listed will result in disqualification. This is only to be fair to those who follow all of the requirements. We ask that all entries be posted only to the Treasured Scrapbooking gallery until the end of the contest or your elimination from the contest. Active participation in the forums/gallery is required during participation in the contest. Although you will be judged primarily on your layouts, activity will be used as a factor in tie-breakers.

Deadline to upload your layout is Monday, August 24, 9pm (EST). Those moving on to round 4 will be announced Tuesday, August 25!!

Good Luck everyone and have fun!! Can't wait to see what you come up with!!

I'm sorry to have ask this, but are we to include this whole part in our journaing
Life doesn’t always work out the way you’d like it to. Sometimes you yearn to be doing something else, to be somewhere else, even to be WITH someone else…So - what would you rather do/be/have/say?

Or

just the I'd rather part.....

Or...the journaling prompt and carry on with I'd rather be....

I wasn't sure if you were just showing that this journaling prompt is what inspired you to come up with the I'd rather part...

And I have to ask this because I can interpret things differnt.

I also have a question... does the ric rac need to be fiber or can it be paper cut to look like ric-rac?

Thanks!

Ok, thanks! Now, the way my day has gone the whole entire thing works for me...but now I know I just have to use the "I'd rather' part....Thanks!

Another question- the hand made flower part, can we use a punch or a cricut and then assemble it or does it have to be hand cut?

a punch or a cricut is fine...you should just create it on your own - no pre-made flowers or flowers made by someone else although if you've learned a flower making technique from someone else or a tutorial...feel free to use it in making your own.
